Title: Who’s kingdom?
But seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well – Matthew 3:13a
As men, we feel like kings of our domain; we are in control of our sphere. This is dangerous thinking and we should step back and concentrate on some key words in this Scripture: “SEEK” and “HIS”. Who’s kingdom? The King is Jesus Christ and He has a plan and a purpose for us. We should give Him all the praise and glory because He has the authority of the heavens and the Earth. We should look for and obey these plans and purposes. How can we do this? Example:Man’s kingdom: The thought of giving all of our issues over to God seems un-manly. “God has bigger issues than what I have going on,” is a common thought. We can become our own kings and we rule our kingdom the way we want because we have it all under control.Seek God’s Kingdom: God can and wants to handle all of our problems and issues. He wants us to give him our kingdom and our world. God can handle anything, we just need to step out in faith and seek his will and give it all to him
Real Men:Seek and obey God’s Kingdom.
