Title: Bad Company
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” – 1 Corinthians 15:33
Corruption feels like something is rotting. What once had a noble purpose has turned inward for personal gain at the expense of others.
And it doesn’t happen quickly. It can be a slow rot.
You might even have some friends that have been making that slow turn. Quietly and without drama, they are rotting from the inside out. They are slowly becoming “bad company.”
And that’s where I think good character can inspire bad company. It can refocus what it means to live with the noble purpose God has entrusted to us as men. That contrast can inspire change and save a man’s life from utter ruin.
Real men have good character.
