Isn’t it interesting when people say “I’m not going to lie, “I’m just being honest,” “truthfully speaking,” and “honestly.” We don’t think twice when we hear or say these words; does that mean all the other stuff we are talking about are non-truths? They are figures of speech but we say them to make sure what is being said is non-fiction.
Truth can provide 3 C’s – Confidence, Comfort and Courage. So even though the above mentioned are figures of speech, it is a way of saying you can be confident, comfortable and have courage in what I am saying. The challenging part is providing the 3 C’s with everything we say, no warning should be needed that truth is about to happen.
