What is it about a good friend that inspires good character? Perhaps it is their passion for the Lord, they have integrity that will not be compromised, maybe this friend is honorable and trust worthy, or all of these and MORE. One thing for sure, these qualities in a brother inspire us to sharpen these areas in our lives. As iron sharpens iron, one person sharpens another.
A deep friendship with someone that is considered “bad company” will corrupt your character, causing a ripple effect through all of the other relationships you may have.
Today call a friend and invite him to coffee or lunch. Invest the time it takes to build up and strengthen these “iron sharpens iron” type friendships.
