Title: Integrity is everything
Till I die, I will not deny my Integrity – Job 27:5b
Integrity is who you are when there is no audience. It is easy to look honest when people are watching. It is easy to sound spiritual in the right room. It is easy to talk about character when nothing is costing you.
But integrity shows up in the quiet places.
The private decision. The business deal. The conversation no one else hears. The way you handle money. The way you speak about and with your wife. The way you respond when you could get away with less.
Job 27:5 says, “Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me.”
That is a strong statement. Job had lost more than most men can imagine, and he still refused to let suffering take his character.
That is steel.
A man’s integrity is not proven by comfort. It is proven under pressure. When life squeezes us, what is really inside is revealed.
A pastor and friend once taught me, “Integrity is everything,” and he was right.
