Humbly put Christ at the center

For those who exalt they will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. – Matthew 23:12

Who do we praise? That is a loaded and uncomfortable question. Often times, our praise and focus is on what is at the center of our lives. It could be our jobs, our kids, family and even ourselves. This is dangerous because this is a slick tactic by Satan to ensure Christ is not the center of our lives.

When we humbly put Christ at the center we exalt Him and He exalts us. It is the relationship that He wants and we should want as well. Once we understand that Christ wants to lift us up and has our best interests in mind, we will want to praise and exalt him.

Scott, Kellie, Cole and Elissa Mitchell have live in Fishers, IN. Scott currently works for Marriott Hotels as a Director of Engineering. For the past 16 years, Scott has taken on active role in Men’s Ministry, by leading a weekly Bible study, and assisting with the youth in many capacities.
