Character is challenged

August 5, 2015David Smith

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” – 1 Corinthians 15:33

Character is challenged in times of adversity, as well as, times of prosperity.

Joseph’s character remained true to God despite the adversity of being betrayed by his brothers, Potiphar’s wife, and abandonment of Pharaoh’s cupbearer. Joseph’s character remained true to God in times of great prosperity as his Father’s favorite son, the head of Potiphar’s household, and eventually second only to Pharaoh.

Each man must himself well enough to know where his character will be challenged. Are you closer to God in times of adversity or prosperity? Know yourself and be a man of character! To learn more about this man of impeccable character read Genesis 37-50!

Real men have a consistent godly character.
