Title: Pursue Christ
Set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in faith and purity – 1 Timothy 4:12b
Paul saw that with young Timothy that they could be an example to both the older people and the younger people. As men we look up to someone that is older and wiser, behind us we have younger people that look to us. This is a big responsibility.
This fact happens no matter what or how we live our lives. We have an opportunity to show others how we live in Christ. The verse lays it all out. Pursuing a life that Christ has called us to live will provide the example to those that see how we live. Will they see something different? Will they will see the peace and the happiness that we experience by the way we pursue Christ? Living for Christ will provide the example that we are called to set.
