Yesterday I saw a quote from Dana Perino. She was the White House press secretary for George W. Bush. She said, ” Your personal integrity is your most valuable asset, and you have to protect it at all costs.” I never looked at my integrity as an asset, but it makes sense. Assets are things we own, and we do everything to maintain and protect them. We own our integrity, and maintaining and protecting has to be a daily focus since our integrity is attacked every day. Integrity maintenance is reading the bible, praying, and serving. Protecting is asking for God’s protection, asking your buddies to pray for your protection, praying for wisdom and discernment.
Real men maintain and protect their integrity.
