Title: Bad EKG

Till I die, I will not deny my Integrity – Job 27:5b  

The definition I read online and a heavyweight shot to my gut.

“Spiritual integrity is the state of being undivided together with the quality of brutal self-honesty. It demands considerable self-awareness and an uncompromising willingness to be authentic. “

Whenever I self-reflect here, it is always a wake-up call. My Spiritual integrity is like a bad EKG on a sick patient. Dodging the different roles I play in life—Christian, Husband, Father, Friend, and employee—all challenge my spiritual integrity.

Recognizing it is my fault that all these roles should be the same, I pray daily.

Real Men have Spiritual Integrity in all they do.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
