What a perfect day for the word Passion to come up. It’s a day to acknowledge the passion, suffering, and death of Jesus on the cross. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” The passion Jesus has for us is to provide love, hope, faith, and forgiveness. Jesus died for all mankind and suffered for all of us. It’s time to get back to that basic message. The world has gone nuts. We could all use more Love, Faith, Hope, and forgiveness. Jesus’ passion for us allowed light to conquer darkness and goodness to conquer sin.
Today is a day of mourning for the death of Jesus, but we need to remember to pray and thank the Lord for the passion He had for His entire life leading up to today. Be thankful that our sins are forgiven and that death is defeated. It also reminds us that we are considered good for what happened today.
But we know the story doesn’t end today.
