Title: Give it All
Love the LORD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. – Deut. 6:5
Even though the verse seems like a straightforward commandment, it tells me a couple of things. I see the word “all” before heart, soul, and strength, and it jumps off the page. Seeing this three times means there is no room to serve two masters, and God wants our complete and unconditional love.
It also tells me that He wants a complete spiritual and physical relationship. He wants our hearts to choose Him and not flesh. He wants our souls, meaning our thoughts, feelings, and actions, to be focused on Him, and then our strength is to love him with everything we have physically. So look to give your all.
Real men. Give God their all.
