Title: Seek Feedback

The Lord is the Strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. – Psalms 28: 8

We have made it to 2021. What a year we just went through. It seems the common theme for 2021 is hope. Hope is comforting. We should look forward to the new year. For me, I have one more thing on my list to do before putting 2020 in the past. I want to sit back and reflect on my year of 2020. Every year I do the manager question and ask my family about me. What did you like, what did you not like, and what do you want the same off. Scary exercise for sure, and I know they sugarcoat some of it, and that’s okay. It gives me the vision for the next year with my family.
Another clear perspective is seeking what God sees. He sees and speaks the truth; he knows me intimately. If we don’t do this, we will miss the story God has set out for us. As I reflect, I know things I can celebrate, see opportunities that I missed, and see where I need improvement.
Reflecting on the past will strengthen us for the future. Seeking God’s direction will allow Him to lead us through anything.

Real Men seek feedback from the past for the future.
