The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. – Psalm 28:8
Asking for help is hard. Sometimes I avoid asking for help because I feel it is admitting failure. I think to myself; I got this or I need to push through, and that is weak thinking in its self.
Even though it’s painful to acknowledge that I am weak, and I need help it’s not failing. The verse today and many verses in the bible talk about God’s strength and his desire for us to call on Him and to turn to Him. So we can’t give in to isolating ourselves with problems and issues, ask God for help and strength. It honors Him to ask for help.
This past year I have asked for help so many times as I am sure you have as well, that it has for sure strengthened my walk and my faith. God truly is our fortress and strength.
