Title: Not a Failure

The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. – Psalm 28:8

Asking for help is hard. Sometimes I avoid asking for help because I feel it is admitting failure. I think I got this, or I need to push through, which is not sound thinking.

Even though it feels like weakness to ask for help, I need re-think that, and it’s not failing. Today’s verse and many verses in the bible talk about God’s strength and his desire for us to call on Him and turn to Him. So we can’t give in to isolating ourselves with problems and issues. Ask God for help and strength. It honors Him to ask for help.

Real Men draw strength from the Lord.
