Title: Seven Spirits

The Lord is the Strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. – Psalms 28: 8

Have you read the book of Revelation?

Revelation – 1:4, “and from the seven spirits which are before his throne.” The seven spirits are mentioned four times in the book of Revelation with at least three interpretations. 1:4, 3:1, 4:5, and 5:6. What are they?  The Spirit of the Lord, The Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, The Spirit of Counsel and Might, the Spirit of Knowledge, and the Fear of the Lord. They don’t refer to seven different spirits of God but rather the perfect and complete Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us Strength to face the daily grind. It provides continuous council and direction. We need to call upon it.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
