Col. Nathan R. Jesse the character Jack Nicholson played in the movie “A Few Good Men”, shouts out the famous line “You can’t handle the truth!” Could he be right? It could mean we may not like the truth, or maybe we are wrong, the truth can revel who we are. The freedom part of the verse is what is interesting, right? The truth is what God gives us without doubt, the good the bad and the ugly, we know what God has for us, it is complete truth. When we accept and live by God’s truth, it comes with the freedom. When we are open and honest about our truth the freedom will be there for us. We can trust that when God reveals His truth it is always to show us what is best for us. His best.
