Gladiator. Braveheart. 300. These are just a few classic film examples of men who possessed resilient passion and the steel to withstand impossible odds in battle, even at the eventual expense of their very lives.
Similar to these stories, spiritual victories are often not measured by the enemy’s total defeat, but by the passion and devotion of the warrior’s heart.
God does not expect us to win every battle and defeat every foe. He expects us to love Him passionately, despite what comes against us. What seems to be coming against you in your spiritual life? What seems impossible?
Real men possess the steel to remain passionate no matter the opposition.
