Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. – Deuteronomy 6:5
Men are very passionate people! When it comes to sports teams, outdoor activities, and tools, it is easy to see how passionate they are. However, when it comes to talking about Jesus, sometimes there isn’t as much passion. It seems that the opposite takes effect: apathy.
The opposite of apathy is passion. To truly be passionate about something, we have to be apathetic. It’s easy to become indifferent about our life and relationship with God. What if we were so passionate about Him that it showed in every aspect of our lives? Would the world be different if all believers shed apathy and lived passionately?
Let us be men of passion when it comes to loving the Lord. Let us be as passionate about sports teams and activities as we are.
