Title: Give it All

Love the LORD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. – Deut. 6:5

 

At first, the verse looks like a simple command, but I notice a few important things. The word “all” comes before heart, soul, and strength. Seeing it three times shows how important it is, and it reminds me that we can’t split our loyalty. God asks for our full and unconditional love.

This also shows me that God wants a relationship with us that is both spiritual and physical. He wants our hearts to choose Him over anything else. He wants our souls—our thoughts, feelings, and actions—to be centered on Him. And with our strength, we should love Him with everything we have. So, try to give your all.

Real men. Give God their all.

For the past 16 years, Scott has taken on active role in Men’s Ministry, by leading a weekly Bible study, and assisting with the youth in many capacities.
