Friday // Steel :: Strength

Title: Not a Failure

The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. – Psalm 28:8

It’s not easy to ask for help. Sometimes I hold back because it feels like admitting I can’t do it on my own. I tell myself I can handle this, or I just need to keep going, but thinking that way doesn’t really help.
Admitting that I need help can be tough, but it doesn’t mean I’ve failed. Today’s verse, and many others in the Bible, remind us that God is strong and wants us to turn to Him. We shouldn’t try to handle everything alone. When we ask God for help and strength, it honors Him.

Over the past year, I’ve asked for help many times, and I’m sure you have too. Each time, it has strengthened my faith. God really is our fortress and our strength.

Hold this verse close to your heart.

Real Men draw strength from the Lord
