Title: Reflect and look forward.
The Lord is the Strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. – Psalms 28: 8
As 2027 approaches, it feels like each year asks a bit more of us. Today’s verse brings comfort. We can look ahead, knowing our strength comes from God. Before I leave 2026 behind, I want to take some time to reflect on the past year. I ask myself what I enjoyed, what I didn’t, and what I hope stays the same. This helps me shape my vision for the year ahead.
Reflecting also helps me try to see things from God’s perspective. He knows me deeply and always speaks the truth. If we skip this step, we might miss the story God has planned for us. Looking back, I notice things to celebrate, chances I missed, and areas where I can grow.
Looking back can give us strength for what’s ahead. When we seek God’s guidance, He can lead us through anything.
