Title: All I need for Christmas is a 2×4 to the back of the head

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. – John 8:32

A message recently from my Pastor hit me on the back of the head with a 2×4 for my faith walk pulse check. The following scripture says it all.

Matthew 7:21-23
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and, in your name, perform many miracles?
Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!

Real Men know Jesus, not just the words of the scripture.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
