Confession is like peroxide on a skinned knee. It’s not going to feel good, but it brings about healing. It removes the infection of sin and allows relationships to heal.Confessing sin to each other will bring healing. Do you trust this? Our sinful nature says, “Stuff it! Hide it! Don’t let anyone know!” God asks us to open up. Trust Him. Take your hand off the wound and allow confession to begin the healing process.Do you want healing or infection? The healing pain of confession is much better than the agony of brokenness. Take a moment to examine the past week. If you are looking for healing, confession is a good place to start.
