Title: Have a Friend and Be a Friend

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. – James 5:16

Confession of sins is not always at the top of our list of things to do. As Christian men, we must be an example for others to follow, even in confession. While we know all our confessions are to God, James teaches us to confess our sins to one another. Do you have that one accountability partner you can openly confess to, someone you can be genuinely open and honest with about your sins and not be judged? As Christian men, we must not only have that one person or two but also be that person for others.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
