Title: At a loss or all together

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. – Prov 3:5

Countless times I would get the boat out for a fishing trip, set up camp or try to tie a loop on a fishhook. I thought I was doing things right. My grandfather would watch for just a moment and then show me a completely different way of finishing the job. His way was always faster, or safer and definitely more efficient. But the thing I remember most was how creative my grandfather was. He just had a different way of looking at how stuff worked.

Not only does God have a different way of looking at how we work, he knows how we work! From how we relate to people to the direction our blood flows through our bodies.

We can quickly revert to leaning only on ourselves, but this verse reminds us that we can trust God. We can trust Him not only when we are at a loss and don’t know what to do, but when we think we have it all together.

Real Men Trust God all the time
