Title: Rely on God

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; – Proverbs 3:5

If you are like me, you love the feeling of being in control of all aspects of your life. Proverbs teaches us to Trust in God and not lean on our own understanding.

When you are at that crossroads of a decision, and you say to yourself, I got this; I don’t need God on this one. How did that work out for you?

So here is the reality check: we must learn to surrender that feeling and know we are not in control. God is! As Christian men, we must learn to approach each day/week knowing this! Who do you rely on or teach others to rely on God or yourself? 

Real Men know who is in control.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
