Fall and winter are approaching, and COVID – 19 seems to have consumed much of our everyday lives. Now we are faced with decisions on how we spend our holidays, should we hunker down again, and so on. Has fear become an idol? Fear has set up in the middle of our lives, where Jesus is supposed to be. Fear causes us to watch the news, read, and discuss this virus daily.
This virus is severe, and we should follow the laws, recommendations, and advice that comes with it. But our daily lives should be focused on Jesus, the one that is the cure for this virus and all other sicknesses. Once Jesus is in the center of our lives, our fears will fade away.
