It’s odd to think an action can become an idol. It seems when I speak with people, it revolves around how busy they are and the list they have to get done. I don’t exclude myself because staying busy is self-satisfying, and it feels good to accomplish things, right?
God is pursuing a relationship with us, and in our busyness, we can miss that. Imagine what we could accomplish if we took our business out of the center of our lives and made Jesus the center; there is no doubt we would achieve great things.
