Title: Busyness is an Idol

Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs. – Jonah 2:8

It’s odd to think an action can become an idol. When I speak with people, the conversation revolves around how busy they are and the list of things they have to get done. I don’t exclude myself because staying busy is self-satisfying, and it feels good to accomplish things, right?

God is pursuing a relationship with us, and we can miss that in our busyness. Imagine what we could accomplish if we took our business out of the center of our lives and made Jesus the center; there is no doubt we would achieve great things.

Real Men Surrender their Idols.
