Pride can be a big issue for guys. Why is that? It is one of the tools that Satan goes to the most in battle, and we fall for it.
Pride can get us into trouble so fast that we don’t even see it coming. We need to think with the end in mind and think about the consequences of our actions or decisions.
When Satan tempted Jesus, Satan used pride as the root of all his temptations. Jesus knew this, set pride aside, and let the Word of God dictate the outcome.
Do we know God’s Word to battle prideful situations? The design around the Man Card was so we would have the weapon of scripture at our fingertips. As with Jesus, the spoken scripture will defeat Satan and his schemes.
