Title: Blessing of God’s forgiveness

Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. – James 5:16

Romans 3:23 tells us that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. We all know what it feels like to do things we shouldn’t. We’ve all felt guilt, shame, and regret when we let ourselves, others, or God down.

Imagine if there were no way to take away the consequences of our sins. Guilt and shame would only grow, and we might feel hopeless. But the Good News is that Jesus offers us forgiveness and a clear conscience. Jesus paid the price for us. “If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). When we accept God’s forgiveness through faith in Christ, we can live free from guilt and shame, receive the blessing of God’s forgiveness for all your sins, whether they are past, present, or future.
