Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. – James 5:16
The hardest part of hide-and-seek was always finding the perfect hiding spot. While you waited, it seemed like no one would ever discover you, but eventually, you were always found.
Confession can feel a bit like playing hide-and-seek with God. Maybe He even finds our attempts to hide from Him a little amusing. But we can’t really run away from Him because He is everywhere, filling heaven and earth. Even when we try to distance ourselves, He will always find us.
If you’re trying to hide from God or keep something from Him, be honest. Ask the One who fills heaven and earth to fill you with His love and mercy.
