I remember growing up, getting into trouble, and then getting caught. Oh boy, here comes the interrogation. At that moment, my mind was racing about how much info I provided—the more detail, the more significant the consequences could be. It was a partial confession, but I learned that a partial confession didn’t get rid of the guilt. It just bought me some time. Later, I would still face the music.
Guilt is a powerful thing, and it will not go away unless a 100% confession is made. Partial confession is just kicking the can down the road and will need to be dealt with at some point.
Call your close friend or someone you can trust, be free from guilt, and confess it all.
