Title: The Driver seat

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. – Proverbs 3:5

 

I think many people feel this way: when I get in the car, I want to drive because it feels safer for everyone. But when I read today’s scripture about trust, I started to wonder—if I have trouble trusting others, how can I trust God to take control of my life? Then I found this quote, and it reminded me that letting God lead can actually bring real safety and peace.

“God is completely sovereign. God is infinite in wisdom. God is perfect in love. In His love, God always wills what is best for us. In His wisdom, He always knows what is best, and in His sovereignty, He has the power to bring it about. “Jerry Bridges

Scott, Kellie, Cole and Elissa Mitchell have live in Fishers, IN. Scott currently works for Marriott Hotels as a Director of Engineering. For the past 16 years, Scott has taken on active role in Men’s Ministry, by leading a weekly Bible study, and assisting with the youth in many capacities. Scott’s other interest include playing bass guitar, hunting, fishing,golf and making homemade beer and wine.
