Title: A real relationship with God

Our men’s group just finished studying the book of Jonah. Throughout the study, I kept thinking about what an authentic relationship Jonah had with God. He ran from God, expressed to God why he did what he did. Then basically tells God in his anger he knew God would forgive the people of Nineveh. Then God asks Jonah, do you think you have the right to be angry, and yes was the answer, and God’s grace was enough for the people of Nineveh and Jonah. Now that is a real relationship with God. The study made it clear to me that God wants our authenticity, and he can handle my temper tantrums and whatever else I bring to Him.
Real Men – Seek an authentic relationship with God.
