Title: Top of the list
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up. – Ephesians 4:29a
Is honor and respect at the top of the list in marriage, family, workplace, or with your friends? Sometimes, when I am upset or stressed out, it’s very easy for my words to become dangerous weapons and not helpful or encouraging. Today’s scripture is very direct and a good reminder that even in times of hurt or upset, it is still possible to show kindness, honor, and respect. It’s not easy, but it can be done.
Real men show kindness, honor, and respect.
