Title: Do It For the Family

Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today. – Hebrews 3:13a

“For the Family,” a phrase I have used many times with my children, It has been, on many occasions, a low voice out of dad’s hearing range a comment or joke about the phrase. But I say it to encourage them to worship together, take family vacations together, have a simple family meal, or to encourage one another. I strive for this, I guess, growing up in a relatively large family that, for the most part, did not share this philosophy.

With both parents passed on and with God now, I often look back and have regrets of choosing work over them choices. So now, I have friendships with my children, and I will continue my quest to strive for family togetherness.
“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever “1 Timothy 5:8

Real Men “Do it For the Family.”

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
