Title: Never Stop the Encouragement

Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” – Hebrews 3:13a

It’s the season for many guys when we see our kids graduate from high school or college and start looking to build their future.

Letting go of adult children, even as Christian parents, is challenging. It is God who loves them the most and knows what is best for them. As parents, we invest years into raising our children, caring for them, and teaching them everything. The love of a parent is described as an unbreakable love. We learn from scripture that being a parent requires commitment. We are to raise our children in the discipline and instruction of God while also taking care not to exasperate them.

Like today’s verse, we need to encourage them daily and build them up, never stopping even when they are mature adults.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Real Men encourage their children continuously.

Bill Reilly

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
