Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” – Hebrews 3:13a
Election year is upon us. The news comes on, and it seems all we hear is the criticism between candidates and how they are handling things. It doesn’t seem to matter what country they are from or what job title they have. So, when we watch, read, or listen to this stuff every day, it can start to influence us and become a discouragement, and it can become easy for us to criticize those around us. Instead, we should be encouraging and praying for those around us.
Paul wrote, “Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.”Thessalonians 5: 12-14
