Title: Be present with the Lord
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters– Colossians 3:23
It’s Saturday, the day between the crucifixion of Jesus and the resurrection. For three years, the disciples followed Jesus. They invested the time to listen to His words, witnessed miracles, and traveled with Jesus. He told them His departure would be good for them, but I am not sure they understood what that meant. It was a big test of faith.
I believe the hours between arriving at the tomb were filled with tears but filled with hope that He would do what he said He would do. We know what happens next.
Today let’s invest our time and be present with the Lord, leave our agendas at the door, and be with Him. It’s a day to not ask for anything but to spend with Lord.
