In the mid-’90s, I was on the front edge of the comic book & sports card craze that swept the nation. A saturation of new comics and card companies flooded the market. Having the #1 issue of a comic or a specific rookie card guaranteed a considerable return on investment.
I still have those cards and comics. They aren’t worth much. At least not what I thought they would be worth. My “investment plan” didn’t pan out as I thought it would.
Investing in the lives God has entrusted to our care …that’s a worthy investment. When we commit to working with His mission and purpose in mind, we have minimal regret.
Real men make the investments God is calling them to.
