Sat // Build :: Kingdom

Title: A plan for us

But seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well – Matthew 3:13a
As men, we feel like kings of our domain; we are in control of our sphere. This is dangerous thinking.

Man’s kingdom: The thought of giving our issues over to God seems un-manly. “God has bigger issues than what I have going on” is a common thought. We can become our own kings, and we rule our kingdom the way we want because we have it all under control.

We should step back and concentrate on some keywords in this Scripture: “SEEK” and “HIS.” Who’s kingdom, and who is the King? The King is Jesus Christ, who has a plan and a purpose for us. We should give Him all the praise and glory because He has the authority of the heavens and the Earth.

Seeking God’s Kingdom: God wants to be a part of our lives and see His will done in our lives. He wants us to give Him our kingdom and our world. God can handle anything; we need to step out in faith, seek his will, and give it all to him.

Real Men: Seek and obey God’s Kingdom.
