Sat // Build :: Kingdom

March 16, 2024Scott Mitchell
Title: Who rules our kingdom?

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. – Matthew 6:33

Sometimes, we become our own “kings” and want to rule our kingdoms because it feels like we have control. The thought of giving our kingdom over to God can seem unmanly. Pridefully, we convince ourselves that God has more significant issues to deal with; our stuff is small and insignificant. God can and wants to handle our problems and concerns; our kingdoms are safe with Him. God is bigger than anything we can give Him, and he can handle it all.

We turn it over to God by asking and seeking His will to be done in our hearts and for His kingdom to manifest in our lives.
