A house that takes a month to build can be knocked down by a bulldozer in just an hour.
People often say that for every criticism we give to our spouse, children, family, or friends, it takes ten compliments to build them back up. Ten!
I find it so easy to point out what someone is doing wrong and how to fix it. But when something goes well, or my kids make a good choice, I often stay quiet. I have to make a real effort to speak up and encourage others.
Pay attention to your words and make it a habit to encourage others.
