It’s never a good feeling when someone overhears you saying something you didn’t mean for them to hear. Most of us know the embarrassment that comes with that moment. Just a few words can really hurt someone. We’ve probably all been talked about before, so we know how it feels on the other side too. Why not remember those feelings and think about others before we say something that might hurt?
Sometimes it feels awkward to encourage others or say something kind. But it takes humility to lift people up. It shows real character to put others first and notice when you can do something nice for someone. Try to build someone up today, and remember to think before you speak.
