Title: Do It For the Family

Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today. – Hebrews 3:13a

“For the Family” is something I often say to my children. Sometimes, they joke about it quietly when I am not listening. Still, I use this phrase to encourage them to worship, go on family trips, share meals, and support each other. I try to live by these values, even though I grew up in a big family that did not always feel the same way.

Now that both of my parents have passed away, I sometimes regret choosing work instead of spending more time with them. Because of this, I focus on building strong friendships with my children and will keep working toward bringing our family closer together.

“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever “1 Timothy 5:8

Real men put their families first.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
