Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. – Romans 12:10

People often use the word “honor” to describe those who achieve great things. I enjoy being recognized, too, but there is another kind of honor. Honoring others means putting their needs before our own and serving them. This kind of honor is something we give freely, without expecting anything back. When we serve others from the heart, it brings us closer together.

As we start the week, can we find ways to honor and serve the people around us?

Scott, Kellie, Cole and Elissa Mitchell have live in Fishers, IN. Scott currently works for Marriott Hotels as a Director of Engineering. For the past 16 years, Scott has taken on active role in Men’s Ministry, by leading a weekly Bible study, and assisting with the youth in many capacities. Scott’s other interest include playing bass guitar, hunting, fishing,golf and making homemade beer and wine.
