Holy Saturday is the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The day on which Jesus “rested” from His work of providing salvation. As Jesus died, He called out, “It is finished!” There was no further price to pay; sin had been atoned for.
Jesus invested in the entire world by giving His life on the cross to cover sin and death. His disciples and we as followers invest in following Christ and sharing the Gospel with others. What are the terms for this investment? We accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior through baptism. We love all unconditionally, and we share the Gospel with others.
Today, reflect on these terms and what they mean. Jesus made the first investment in us.
