Title: Christ in the center
For those who exalt they will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. – Matthew 23:12
Who do we praise? That is a loaded question. Often, our praise and focus are on what is at the center of our lives. It could be our jobs, our kids, family, and even ourselves. This is dangerous because this is a slick tactic by Satan to ensure Christ is not the center of our lives.
When we humbly put Christ at the center, we exalt Him, and He promotes us. It is the relationship that He wants, and we should wish to as well. Once we understand that Christ wants to lift us, and He has our best interests in mind, we will want to praise and exalt him.
